About the Role
Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java SE and Java EE technologies. Build and enhance backend services using Spring Boot and Hibernate. Develop and integrate RESTful web services and APIs. Develop web application components using technologies such as JSP and Servlets where required. Design efficient database structures and develop optimised SQL queries. Identify and resolve application and database performance issues. Apply appropriate software design principles, architectural patterns and design patterns while developing solutions. Write clean, maintainable and reusable code following established engineering standards. Perform debugging, testing and troubleshooting of application issues. Participate in technical discussions, solution design and code reviews. Work closely with development, product and other cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Contribute to improving application performance, scalability and maintainability.
